Our Robots

Botsune Miku is the first iteration robot for Golden Dragons' 2025-26 season. Miku has competed at both the SC Midlands Tournament and the SC State Championship, where it was the tournament winning robot at each event. This robot features a spindexer design that allows it to actively sort artifacts on field. It also contains a turreted shooter that can point at the goal from anywhere on the field, and an indexer system that allows the robot to fire all 3 artifacts in 0.5 Seconds.

Clanky is the GoBilda Robot for Golden Dragons' 2025-26 season. This robot was built in a Robot in 3 Days challenge and competed at the GSSM Fall Scrimmage. It is very basic and runs a catapult design that allows it to cycle quickly between the human zone and goal.

Hydra is the Custom Robot for Golden Dragons' 2024-25 season. This robot is a lightweight and efficient machine used to score as many samples and specimen as possible during the match as well as hanging during endgame. This robot was an evolution of Viper and kept to the original naming conventions.

Viper is the GoBilda Robot for Golden Dragons' 2024-25 season. This robot is a compact machine designed to score samples and specimen as quickly as possible. Viper was named after its resemblence to the snake in its attack position.

Giles Corey is the 2023-24 robot from the Golden Dragons. It is designed to be a fast and efficient robot that can score quickly and accurately. Giles was named after a character from the Crucible since initially it needed weights to keep it from drifting.
